I’m catching up on a bit of magazine reading today and on some of the weddings I’ve shot that have been featured. Real Weddings Magazine published this wonderful wedding of Kim & Luke in Santorini in their Destination Wedding supplement recently. The feature reminded me just how sweet my job can be, oh to be back in the Greek Islands in the town of Oia for a week! I always get excited to see weddings that I have photographed in print, as it’s such a lovely keepsake for the couples who are featured and for their friends and family to share.
Thank you to the team at Real Weddings for featuring Kim and Luke’s magical wedding day! You can view their full wedding day photos here

Here’s a sneak peek of Alexis and Travis’ garden wedding. I’ve got smiley-cheek-cramps today, as I’ve not been able to wipe the smile off my face while working on photos of their beautiful wedding day. Love in abundance, laughs a-plenty and some seriously fun moments, I am really excited to share this one with you! Their ceremony was held at Victoria Gardens in Prahran, followed by a breath taking roof top reception at The Cullen Hotel. These guys sure know how to do glamour!
Beautifully planned and styled by A Lavish Affair and catered for by the talented team at Bright Young Things, I’ll be sharing more of Alexis and Travis’ day later in the week! But for now, here’s a few shots to enjoy!

When I first met Renee to talk about her wedding plans, Renee came along to our appointment with her lovely sister and her gorgeous, little niece. You could see straight away that Renee and her sister Marlyse were so close and once we all started chatting, it was clear how much family played a part in Renee’s values and also in Renee & Kevin’s everyday lives. A few months later, when we photographed their engagement shoot, I met Kevin for the first time when we went out fishing on the bay in Kevin’s boat. Kevin’s Dad, Sam, came too and we had a great morning on the water. That morning, I saw again a real closeness in the family relationships…Kevin and Sam were more like best mates than father and son.
So it’s no surprise that Renee and Kevin’s wedding day had a real family focus. That Saturday, it was another one of those perfect blue sky days that we had in March. Renee looked stunning in her Connie Simonetti gown and wowed everyone upon entering St Mary’s Church in Geelong. Their family friend, Father John Taliana lead a beautiful, family focused ceremony and then after the service we all headed out to Terindah Estate for the evening reception. Neddless to say, there were stunning views, an afternoon walk on the beach, drinks on the lawn, fine food and plenty of dancing. It was a truly beautiful day!
Congratulations Renee and Kevin, Iit’s been great fun getting to know you and your families in the lead up to your wedding! All the best for a long and happy life together!
