Sense Of Place

A Sense of Place is a moment of connection with nature, captured in the golden afternoon light. When we swim, we fully immerse ourselves in the experience, like entering a different world or realm. Our bodies feel different than when we are on land, we feel supported and at ease. Sometimes, the light changes in an instant, fleeting, changing, enveloping, intensifying and then diffusing. The beauty of a sunset swim in this kind of light is a very special experience and reminds me that we can experience awe and wonder in our natural environment when we are present and in the moment.

All of my photographs are locally printed on white, 100% cotton, museum grade paper and are available in 4 sizes. All prints have a small white, 10mm border and are signed and number in grey lead pencil. Please allow 10 days for printing, postage and delivery.
