Dune Shelf

‘Dune Shelf’ was taken during a flight over the Point Lonsdale sand dunes with a local pilot. This area of the dunes has a distinct orange rock shelf which is surrounded by native tea trees. I’ve been drawn to this area in the dunes for the unusual colour and textures in the sand, which are even more beautiful when seen from the air. The beach was empty on this morning and where the dune meets the beach you can see white specks in the sand, which are washed up cuttlefish after the high tide.

All of my photographs are locally printed on white, 100% cotton, museum grade paper and are available in 4 sizes. All prints have a small white, 10mm border and are signed and number in grey lead pencil. Please allow 10 days for printing, postage and delivery.
