Mermaid Pearls

Mermaid Pearls – This photograph, although simple in its composition and subject, is so evocative for me. I can almost feel the jelly squish of the seaweed under my feet, I can taste the saltiness of the sea (we used to bite these pearls of seaweed when we were kids and squirt the seawater at each other) and I can hear the sound of the waves beyond the rocks they sit on. The colours are sublime, subtle greys, deep browns and those beautiful ochre tones of the soft seaweed.

All of my photographs are locally printed on white, 100% cotton, museum grade paper and are available in 4 sizes. All prints have a small white, 10mm border and are signed and number in grey lead pencil. Please allow 10 days for printing, postage and delivery.
