Popes Eye
Price range: $350.00 through $1,250.00
‘Popes Eye‘ is photographed hand held, from a light aircraft flying over the stretch of water between Queenscliff and Sorrento. The tide is low and the clarity of the water was particularly beautiful on this day, highlighting the unusual shape of the man made rock formations of Popes Eye. This artificial reef and marine sanctuary is a haven for sea life like dolphins, seals and sting rays making it a popular spot for diving and snorkelling. The black rock is basalt which contrasts beautifully with the colour of the ocean.
